White Water Wall Reveg Working Bee

Rosie Hohnen

Thanks to everyone who came along to our revegetation working bee at White Water Wall on June 19th! Legends.

The weather was a bit wild but we still managed to get all 60 plants in the ground along the White Water Wall clifftop and the closed little Bluestone Bay 4WD track. The plants were species native to those sites, and grown from locally sourced seed at the Apsley Nursery in Bicheno. The idea was to prevent erosion along the clifftop and support the recovery of the 4WD track.

Again thanks to Steve, Fi, Alena from Freycinet Parks crew for supporting the work! Also to Ben for writing the site plan and the Wildcare team for providing the funding through the Tasmanian Nature Conservation Fund.
